What Makes a Room to Breathe Intensive Different?
A Room to Breathe intensive is me, fully trained in every modality I use, with the time and structure for deep work to actually finish what it starts. I'm with you for the whole process, preparation through integration, and we don't have to stop right when your nervous system finally opens the door.
All intensives with me include:
60 minute Preparation session
Intensive session (3-6 hours)
60 minute Integration session
Optional: Ketamine-Assisted Intensives. Journey Clinical handles everything medical. I stay your therapist, before, during, and after. Dosing sessions are 3 hours. Journey bills you directly for their side of it (the medical visits and the medication), so that cost is in addition to what I charge for the therapy portion.
Everything is $300 an hour, the prep and integration sessions included.
Intensive Options (without Ketamine)
The Deep Breath
Half day | 5 contact hours'; 3 intensive hours, plus preparation and integration sessions.
One focused target. A single stuck memory, an upcoming event your body is dreading, a block that weekly sessions keep circling. 3 hours of intensive work, with a preparation session before and an integration session after.
Investment: $1,500, $750 deposit
The Long Exhale
Full day | 8 contact hours; 6 intensive hours, plus preparation and integration sessions.
A whole day for trauma with more than one root, or that has been running your life long enough to earn it. EMDR, Brainspotting, Parts Work, and more, woven together with breaks built in. 6 hours of intensive work, with a preparation session before and an integration session after.
Investment: $2,400, $1,200 deposit
The Open Air
Multi-day | 15 contact hours; 12 intensive hours over several days (3-6 hours per day) depending on scheduling
For the deep stuff: complex trauma, layered grief, the patterns with long histories. 12 hours of intensive work across consecutive or closely spaced days, with preparation before and two integration sessions between and after.
Investment: $4,500, $2,250 deposit
The Open Air +
Multi-day | 22 contact hours; 18 intensive hours over several days (3-6 hours per day) depending on scheduling
For the longest histories and the deepest layers. 18 hours of intensive work across consecutive or closely spaced days, with a preparation session before and three integration sessions woven between and after.
Investment: $6,600, $3,300 deposit
A non-refundable deposit holds your dates. The balance is charged at your preparation session, which counts as Day 1 of your intensive. Nothing about the cost is a surprise: you'll get the fee agreement, your good faith estimate, and a written booking confirmation with the exact amounts and dates well before then, and we go through all of it together.
Every contact hour is $300. Preparation and integration are contact hours too, and they're counted in the number under each name.
These four options cover most people. If none of them fit, we'll build something else at the same hourly rate
Intensive Options with Ketamine
Ketamine sessions are 3 hours. That's how long the medicine takes. You can only have one in a day, and nothing else is scheduled after it.
The rest of that day is yours, and it's meant to stay quiet. Journaling, being outside, resting. That's where you do you, allow the medicine to continue working, and process it in your own way. Since that is not clinical time, you’re not billed for it.
So the ketamine version of a package doesn't have the same hours as the regular one, even with the same name, due to that shorter dosing session instead of a full 6 hour day. It's still $300 an hour. There's just a different number of hours in it.

Enough time to finish
Weekly therapy stops when the hour is over, whether you're done or not. An intensive gives you plenty of time for your system to go all the way in and all the way through.
We prepare beforehand, we do the work, and we take our time after to integrate, so everything gets processed and contained, and you leave ready to settle into what's shifted.
What I can promise
As with any therapy, I can't promise you an outcome. What I can promise: you'll get my all every time you're in the room, and you'll always know what I'm seeing and what I'd recommend, including "not this" and "not yet" when those are the true answers. And I stay in consultation with trusted colleagues, because your care deserves more than one good brain on it.
Many doors, one guide
An intensive here isn't one technique on repeat. I'm trained in all of it: EMDR, Brainspotting, Ego States, and more, and I move between them based on what your nervous system is doing, not what a manual says comes next. If we hit a barrier mid-morning, we don't lose the day, we just change course.
